I have made som progress. I hae discovered that "make install" doesn't copy the
newly compiled modules to the /lib/modules/2.2.*/* directory. Due to this
discovery, I have loaded the modules from the ftape/modules directory using a
scrip that I found on: http://www.linuxtapecert.org/parallelport_ftape.html.
I'm not sure that this script is quite correct, but the modules load witout
complianing or saying anything. However, when I check the
/proc/ftape/0/tapedrive, the only thing I find is "UNINITIALIZED". The same
goes for the 1-4. When looking in /proc/ftape/driver/drivers, it sayes "Drivers
registered for device 0: bpck-fdc". I hope this driver is correct, at least the
documentation says it is.
