They ship a hacked up redhat.. that's it. It's got VA's name all over it,
every binary possible is suid root, and it runs older software.
We have over 950 VA Full-On 2x2's, and some of their heavier machines for
our Oracle servers. VA is a primary cluster vendor.. They are great
machines (Except for that short power cord on the new 2u's.. always pops
out in inside during shipping.. real pain in the ass to open up hundreds
of machines).
But, keep an eye on rackable.com. I saw their work at google.com's
site.. Very VERY nice. 88 machines in ONE rack.
