it's on the mainboard FDC and it has no accelerator.  I don't know the
rating.  at this point, I think I'm going to reinstall windows and use
that to access the tape drive.  however, I'd _really_ like to know how I
would go about finding out irq's, dma's, and base addresses in linux,
assuming I didn't have windows to rely on.  I assume there's a way?
