In Ubuntu I've been hoping that bug #704231 will be fixed, although it's obviously not been a priority with the Compiz/Unity folks.
I guess a proper solution would be to have a fallback list of shortcuts, a persistent notification when the primary shortcut is unavailable, and (if possible) detect when the preferred shortcut key is blocked. I guess we could possibly do that by checking whether we can register a grab on each modifier component of the shortcut? We can't check for <super>+<space>, because mutter kindly eats *all* <super> keypresses. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of UBUNTU - AL - BR, which is subscribed to Do. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/599802 Title: super + space fails to summon gnome-do when using gnome-shell Status in Do: New Bug description: OS = Fedora 13 Gnome running Gnome shell.
