I'm using Gnome Shell 3.2 in Ubuntu 11.10, Oneric Ocelot. Super+Space is also not working here, but I discovered, that if you press Super+Space+2nd-time-Space Gnome Do will open up. I tried to change the keybinding to ctrl+Space, but that is not working with Gnome Shell. After every reboot, the default keybinding (Super+Space) is back - not sure if this is a Gnome Shell, Ubuntu or Gnome Do bug...
