How's that HCD code compartmentalization project coming anyhow?  Is
everyone thinking of waiting until the 2.5 tree opens up before going
further with this?  Personally, I think the HCD code-sharing project
should show up
fully in both the 2.4 and 2.5 trees.   IIRC, some of this work was tied
to EHCI work, which is on hold for 2.5, correct?  If so, could the
code-sharing work be split off from the EHCI work so that it could show
up earlier in the 2.4 tree?

Follow up question:  Are the uhci and usb-uhci drivers making any
headway in taking advantage of any of the code-sharing work, thus far?
