I recently found a set of PIIX chipset errata -
http://www2.lm-sensors.nu/~lm78/pdfs/PIIX4-addendum.pdf. I note the following
USB related issues.

4. USB Bandwidth Reclamation Errata
This seems to be required, but (AFAICT) is not being applied in either driver.

7. USB Rise / Fall Time Matching
No impact.

8. System Resume on USB OC# Assertion
No impact.

9. PCI Arbiter Advances when PC/PCI ISA Master Gets Retried by the Host
Controller
No impact.

11. USB-PCI Latency
This is a crap bit of design, but can only be fixed in other drivers.

13. USB Resume from Selective Suspend
No impact, until we get into serious power management support.

14. IRQ9OUT# is Active HI
This might explain why some people have "noapic" type problems on IRQ9.
Probably needs to be hacked into the PCI drivers.

The referenced errata isn't especially current, and only affects some early
steppings. But it might be worth a look for UHCI support.
