Bulk transfers don't have a limit beyond "the biggest contiguous memory buffer you can allocate with kmalloc()". (Or maybe I should say __get_free_pages() ...)
ISO transfers have limits imposed by USB. Look at sections 5.6 and 5.9.2 of the USB 2.0 specification (and look at the errata for table 5.5, for highspeed ISO). - Dave ----- Original Message ----- From: "Muhammad Haroon" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Friday, October 26, 2001 11:59 PM Subject: [linux-usb-devel] Max.Buffer Size for Bulk/Isochronous transfers > Hi All, > Does anybody know the maximum size of the buffer which > can be handled by the the bulk and isochronous > transfers in case of usbcore. > Urgent help required. > Thanx. > Haroon Joya. > _______________________________________________ [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe, use the last form field at: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/linux-usb-devel
