hello guys...thanks for the replys...i really appreciate the help...

okay, sorry for taking so long in replying back, i had to attend to some
business stuff across the country...so now i can do some real work
again..

:)

so i hope everyone is going good!  okay let me address johann first, i
don't have an Asus P2BD* mother board, but a gigabyte motherboard with
ALi, SiS, and VIA chipset series...

and now for gregs question...i actually have a logitech usb mouse and it
works fine!...so other devices do attach on...

:)

so i am stuck and don't really know where to go from here!
