We are also developing driver for the ECI globspan based modem and we have noticed that it work fine with ohci and usb-uhci but not for uhci with many version of 2.4 kernel. Another thing is that if the VIA patch are not in the kernel the driver (in user mode with usbfs) often core dump when there are heavy hard disk usage. Avinash natarajan wrote:
