Sure seems to me like devices not going away when they should,
and others seemingly appearing when they shouldn't, have a lot in
common with devices disappearing when they shouldn't.
Not one of those things should ever happen ... however, only one of
them has a BUG() check to tell you that something is really broken.
Were you going to provide the information about that second
issue?
