Exactly the same behaviour here (I forgot to mention I tried this with the 
cpia cam too; didn't trust my own driver because of the many changes).

NB: if the process is stuck in 'down_interruptible', why can't I stop 
it with ^C? Or is this IRQ interrupts we're talking about?
