Not really the correct place, there's a link off of linux-usb.org that
contains a database of known working devices.  I'd suggest looking
there.

That being said, what's the output of /proc/bus/usb/devices with this
device plugged in?  It sounds like the userspace pencam program will
work just fine with this device for downloading the pictures, and the
stv680 kernel driver should work as a webcam for it.

Again, /proc/bus/usb/devices output is really the only way to check this
out.
