I've narrowed down the usb audio problem I reported a while back to an
SMP issue. When built for uniprocessor, the audio driver is fine, and
works continuously. I'm presently testing with the latest 2.5.49 bk
tree. Anyone else running usb audio (the OSS version) on an Athlon MP
system?

The audio stops after some period of time (~30 seconds or more with
little system activity, quicker with system activity) or will stop
immediately when closing some apps, like Netscape. After that xmms is
locked and cannot be killed. The audio module cannot be rmmod'd because
it is busy, and only a reboot will restore the usb audio system. I
reported this behavior a while back, but previously a URB unlink error
would occur in the system log after xmms was closed/shutdown. That no
longer occurs. Now it is impossible to kill xmms, even with a kill -9
as root.

Hardware:
Athlon MP - AMD 760MP
USB audio - Sound Blaster Extigy

Any suggestions on further debugging steps to take?
