Greetings,

I've been testing a variety of VIA VT8235 based motherboards for the past
few weeks and the VIA USB 2.0 support has been guaranteed to hang every
time when using a USB 2.0 Hard Drive (or any other USB 2.0 device for that
matter). There have been minor improvements, including the fact that I was
able to use a USB 2.0 hub attached to the VIA USB 2.0 port and have it
working so that writing data to the USB 2.0 HDD was working well, whilst
reading it would fail just as before.

At present, I'm using Kernel 2.4.21-pre3-ac3 with very poor EHCI support
on the VIA, but excellent EHCI support on the NEC PCI card.

Are there any work arounds, or any more recent code available that might
help with the VIA EHCI?

Thanks,
Jonathan
