I'm have not used the Beklin CF reader, BUT...

Vendor "55aa" is the required vendor code for the NEC-131 controller, when
it' in test/factory mode. It' possible that a batch of products got shipped
with factory firmware.

If this is the case, the serial number should be valid. (not garbage)
The serial number is set when the factory firmware is loaded.
The vendor string "OCI-USB" looks ok. 

I would think, if it's a Beklin product, it would have a Beklin vendor ID.

Being able to read & write to the device, would be dependant upon the firmware.

Here'a something, I NEVER thought I'd say, "Try it with Windozzzzz". :-)
If it has factory firmware in it, it won't work there either.

If vendor "55aa" is a valid vendor ID, then ignore this, it's probably wrong.
