Hello, I've got an Intel 850demv2 motherboard with usb boot support and also a 40 GB Toshiba hard drive with usb interface. When trying to install RedHat 8.0 I get, under the selected drives an "hda, hdb, sda (as the usb drive)" but when trying to use fdisk to partition the drive nothing happens. So I downloaded the latest version from Mandrake which is 9.1, hopping that there is some sort of solution, but this system does not even recognize a device attached to the usb port, except for a mouse. Would there be patch that I can apply during the install or pass a kernel argument to be able to install to the usb hard drive?
