There is initial Linux support for the "device" side, called the "gadget" 
code. Check a recent kernel.

Note that the device side needs compatible hardware and drivers for Linux, and 
also needs to implement some higher level specification (such as the mass 
storage specification). I don't think anyone has done mass storage for the 
device side on Linux yet.
