There are similar messages in apcupsd-users, some with HID debug logs:

http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?thread_id=2540244&forum_id=26961

The message 'hid-core.c: logical range invalid 120 120' suggests that
the problem should be fixed by this patch for 2.4 (which was posted
here recently):

http://marc.theaimsgroup.com/?l=linux-usb-devel&m=105562727703359&w=2

If this does not help, please define DEBUG and DEBUG_DATA in
drivers/usb/hid_core.c and post the kernel messages.
