Alan, thanks so much for all your help (as well as everyone else who's
helped on this).

One more 'bug' I've noticed... not sure if this is specific to this
patch, or my recently upgraded -test7 kernel, or...

If I connect the camera it gets added at /dev/sda1. If I disconnect the
camera, the usb drivers tell me:

~ Oct 18 20:04:36 rider kernel: usb 1-2: USB disconnect, address 3

If I then connect the camera again later, it becomes /dev/sdb1

And if you repeat the process, it will become /dev/sdc1 and so on and so
forth.

This is quite frustrating. I'm not sure if this is a SCSI bug or a USB
bug. I don't remember this happening before though...

Thoughts?
