I've configured, built, and installed kernel 2.6.0-test8 (with one non-USB
patch to make test8 compile). I then followed the hints at
http://thomer.com/linux/migrate-to-2.6.html to get hotplugging to work, which
it seems to do for both a Sanyo Xacti-S1 camera and a Canon PowerShot A80
camera. But it doesn't seem to work/detect a developer board I'm playing
with. Said board, which is supposed to emulate a digital still camera, _does_
communicate correctly with a Canon i455 printer, and I'm using the same
cables. dmesg output below, starting about when I plugged in the device.

I have USB debug messages enabled in my kernel build, and USB is all as
modules. The "Stalled Babble" message clearly comes from uhci-debug.c:60, which
in turn comes from uhci-hcd.c/uhci_result_control():1068, but I haven't traced
it back further than that.

I'm willing to grub about a bit, but I'm also looking for suggestions on just
where and how to look.

Thanks,
-Del
