All, I have some trouble getting my external USB drive working reliable. After some gig of transfer it stops working.
After reading some postings here I saw a posting from Alan Stern - he said one should change ".max_sectors" in drivers/usb/storage/scsiglue.c to a value of 128 (or lower). Unfortunately I need kernel 2.4.xx and I can't switch over to 2.6 - is there also a workaround for 2.4.xx? Would be nice if someone could help me....
