No, not yet. Since Linux 2.6 is entirely new for me, this could take a long 
time. But I'll try it if all else fails.

Now that's interesting. The hard disk can't be the problem, since it's working 
perfectly with the integrated IDE controller on my mainboard. But I should 
probably try to get the bridge working with some Windows machine first. Maybe 
it's simply broken ... I haven't considered that because it's brand new.
