        I'm still getting random, hard-to-reproduce machine lockups though.
Not even a kernel oops, just a complete machine seizure, that requires
holding down the power button for 7 seconds to power off; no SysRq, no nmi,
no hangcheck, nothing.

        I'll try to figure out why and post back.
