I'm currently working with a HID GPS device, the DeLorme USB Earthmate. I've obtained some verbose output using lsusb on the device showing the various hid input, output, and feature reports and need a little help in determining how to access it and what changes, if any, need to be made to the usb input layer. I'm currently using the hiddev driver for the device and have been using the hiddev api ioctls/structs to obtain basic identifier information (strings and whatnot) with success. If anyone else is working on this device and would like to collaborate on it, please send an email my way. This page shows more information: http://geocities.com/i0xox0i. It has the lsusb output with various other details. Thank you for your time.
