Ok, now I feel bad, the thing is that after I tried all these patches, which obviously worked splendid I recompiled to a "clean" kernel and tried it also just because I started to get a bad feeling of things working too good. Now that works also, I suppose I must have had an electrical failure of some kind in my computer because I had it turned off for 2 days this weekend when I was away (before that it probably hadnt been powercycled properly for a while). When I tried to do the rmmod operation this weekend on a clean kernel I just tried the rmmod, I never just tried to unplug the device again because I "knew" that didnt work, I guess that would have worked allready back then.
