Greetings, I've got a Tyan S2460 mobo and USB doesn't work with it. The board uses the "Advanced Micro Devices [AMD] AMD-766 [ViperPlus]". The USB interface doesn't work with either a 2.4.x kernel or a 2.6.6 kernel. I've seen some statements that the USB support in this chipset is broken. Is that correct?
Alternatively, if the problem is with Linux's USB driver, I have the programming skills to test and experiment if someone can provide guidance and suggest where to look and what sorts of experiments/tests should be run.
