The USB source code is part of the kernel source code.  If you have a 
2.6.6 kernel then most likely you already have the source code as well; if 
not you can download it from http://www.kernel.org.

However, most likely the problem is you has nothing to do with the USB 
system.  Probably it lies somewhere else, like in ACPI and interrupt 
handling.  If you want to get more details about what's going wrong, 
rebuild your kernel with the USB debugging option turned on in the 
configuration.
