It was more a matter of me not having time to do the tweaking, which I recall involved hub suspend/resume logic moving from pci-specific to bus-neutral code, plus maybe more.

In fact, you didn't change those readl() calls to
the new ohci_readl() in this updated patch either.
I'll forward a version with those calls changed.
