It is going to be impossible to implement, I'm afraid.
Remember that it's nearly impossible to kmalloc more than 8K
because of the fragmentation. So there's no way in hell to
get all that stuff in one chunk (which is why request_firmware
uses vmalloc). A driver must stream the firmware if it is
longer than 8K, there's no way around it.
