I think it's a combination of the VIA kt133a chipset and this device.
That could well be the case. Although you would think that if the VIA controller was sending the proper signals over the bus then the device would respond correctly. This is one of those cases where it helps to use a bus analyzer.
I imagine that's a hardware thing rather then a software thing?
Anyway it's rather strange as it does some comunication and it certainly does communication with other usb devices? Is it perhaps a power thing, that the device doesn't get enough juice?
