You mean not use the second port at all? That's not an option. I have hw with all 4 ports. I had a 2.4 based driver working with 2.6.0. It registered each port as a hub. But the driver was a mess so I decided to rewrite using 2.6.8 hcd framework. I'll have to figure something out...
