Did you apply the latest patch from Alex? Attached. This should (as I recall) affect _different_ disconnect behaviors -- but I've not had a chance to test it myself.
I applied the patch, but it didn't help. Even with all the gadget drivers unloaded, the net2280 board still must have a pull-up on the D+ line.
Hmmm yeah, I wouldn't think that patch would change the behavior on an unload. I'll investigate this here and get back to you.
