Well, the first post from Jurgen said he had GeneSys IDE, and I generally tune out when I hear that. As you know, we've had no end of problems from those. If this is an issue with the ALI controller, it's the first I'll have heard. Most folk have said "works fine". That said, it's a bit odd that switching on disk #2 affects disk #1 at all.
