Well, it didn't necessarily work right with just UHCI either, but the disk
corruption sounds orthogonal to usbcore.

The disk corruption could very well be my fault -- I probably should have been mounting it with the sync option and may have removed it prematurely.


Multiple things are goofy here.  Do non-iPod full-speed devices work
OK, or is it just an iPoddity?  Does it work with other USB 2.0 hosts,
like some non-laptop Intel box?  Is that "infinite reset loop" new in
rc2, or did it happen in earlier kernels too?

Unfortunately, I don't have the available hardware to test these things. Is there anything else I can try to help debug the issue? Might it be worth while to downgrade to a previous kernel version, and if so, which version should I try?
