That shouldn't be affected at all by that patch, which is
in 2.6.10-rc3-bk5 and later -- assuming it's the problem
some folk have, where that "fatal error" appears as the
system is initializing.

Wait until the patch is available from your distro supplier.  :)
Else apply patches yourself, either from kernel.org or the
