I propose that we use terminology as it is in the isp116x
datasheets: hardware reset means asserting the isp116x's
reset pin, while software reset is achieved by writing to
proper isp116x registers and should therefore be platform
independent.

Until now, I have failed to get the software reset working.
Though, I haven't tried hard as I have the hardware reset
available on my board. If you really mean to implement a
software reset, you may better tweak the isp116x_sw_reset()
function in the driver.
