Hello, I got this message today so I'm following the instructions: sbaudio: no idea what's going on..., contact linux-usb-devel@lists.sourceforge.net
I hooked up the Byterunner USB 5.1 Channel Audio Adapter: http://www.byterunner.com/cgi-bin/cart.cgi?store=byterunner&cart_id=9681830.6602&product_name=UA580&user-id=&password=&exchange=&exact_match=exact It works playback and record in windows, but only playback seems to work in linux. The company claims USB compliance as follows: USB specification v1.1 USB audio device class spec v1.0 USB HID class spec v1.1 It does say that only 2 channel playback works in on Mac systems... I attached some info below that might help if anyone is interested. Otherwise, if anyone knows a good linux compatible USB microphone audio input device, that would be great! ;) Thanks, -John ===== Class 0 ((Defined at Interface level)) Subclas 0 Protocol 0 USB 1.16 Version Vendor ID 0xc45 (Microdia) Product ID 0x167f Revision 1.0 Speed 12 Mbits/s Channels 0 Max.
