It's hard to know just what to say about this, except that these still look like low-level interference or hardware errors. They don't resemble the sort of clock timing errors that an external hub can fix. Either you've had extraordinarily bad luck with choosing your host controllers and cables or else you have an incredibly high level of EM noise near your system. :-( > And another thing: we don't have any problems with backup to a usb-ide on > this > server at work, even with a genesys usb-ide chip...
