Thanks for your quick and positive response.
The information you have provided have helped me a lot as I am new to
this area. I saw all the related codes. Thanks once again.
Steve recommended going by adding an external ehci or ohci controller,
but MPC8248 already has a built-in USB controller and I want to utilize
the strength of it.
It will be of great help if anyone could suggest me a reference code for
MPC8248's USB Host Controller Driver or post me any HCD for Power Quick
I or II.

Moushumi,
Unless the mpc8248 is MUCH different from the mpc823 I worked on, it is not
going to work as a general purpose USB host controller as it is used on
Linux. If you just search the archives for "823 850 host" or m8xxhci you
will see past discussions. The CPM USB Host is brain dead.
