I cannot seem to find a definitive usbmon patch for 2.6.
Any pointers?
The closest I can find is 
  http://kerneltrap.org/node/4449
which has a patch and a few revisions...

(I'm using Ubuntu, but an compiling a 2.6.12 kernel for testing).
