i've the same problem with the same device. discussing about it in debian-italian someone show me this link: http://marc.theaimsgroup.com/?l=linux-kernel&m=112559174620978&w=2 so, i tried to mount it asyncronously and wow! it (seems) works perfectly. but i cant understand if it is a good idea or not... and but this a homework for the last week how to teach to hotplug to mount every-vfat-usb device with the -o async option. bye.
