Under UsbSnoop I get 4 possible options for what I log- any of the 3 interfaces, plus a composite device. The logs I posted were from the fingerprint interface alone. That may be an explanation for this.

I would certainly be suspicious about the other interfaces. Note that HID-compliant interfaces can receive reports as well as send them.

I guess that is the next step then.
