Let us know if this improves things; the patch should apply to
most 2.6 kernels, this changes some pretty old code.
Not sure this was even intented/hoped to do anything about the issue I
was having (async schedule toggling on/off eating PCI bandwidth) but I
saw something about that async schedule, so...
No changes for me. IDE throughput drop of 8MB/s after turning on
external USB2 drive, throughput not restored by switching off drive
again (disconnect?), only by modprobe -r ehci-hcd.
