That's more than it should be.  It indicates a systematic problem of some 
sort.  If you have a different Linux computer handy, you could try moving 
the cable and drive over to it and see what the reset rate is.

I calculate about 3.5 MB/s transfer speed, which is on the low side.  
Other factors may be involved, so this doesn't necessarily mean anything.

Each individual reset should be very quick, on the order of 1 second or 
less.  Of course, it may take a few seconds for a command to timeout and 
cause the reset to occur.
