I copied the same amount, and in another window I had a while true ; do date lsusb -v -D /proc/bus/usb.... (my device) sleep 2 done and the timestamps were in 2sec diff (a few in 3, but this is ok, the output of lsusb takes some time which adds up). So no, the drive seems not to be locked up. I have set it to 60 * Hz and retried, but with the same effect, again 29 resets (strange that it is always 29, mysteries I like sooo much ;-) I think I won't disturb you any longer (with this problem) ... and be happy that the files are copied without errors...
