What are these counters ? How different are these counters from the current format of usbmon log ? Do the file usbmon.txt contains information regarding these counters ? Most of the time, the main reason for droppage is that cat(1) is not a very good fetch application, and also the in-kernel buffers are fairly rigid. I'll do something about the performance, I promise. The first goal was to have something bug-free as a baseline. The second goal was not to disturb the USB core and avoid creating anomalies when usbmon is running, which seems to work.
