If it helps at all, this use to work with previous kernel versions, not
quite sure when it started to fail?  I can try to find that out, if it
helps.

I don't really know if it really works under linux, I'm running Wincrap
XP Prof under vmware hosted by FC5, and this USB device worked just find
in this config until quite reason kernel update.
Since then I've upgraded to FC6 but I can always reinstall FC5, if it
helps to figure out what's going on
