Without going into details ... the reason the PXA 27x UDC is so painful to use is that it tries to make the hardware do something the software is much better suited to handle: configuration management, which couples endpoints to configurations and to interface altsettings. So the first thing to test is whether the two configurations used by that driver -- RNDIS, and CDC subset -- are both set up correctly.
