That's good to hear that it does work on PPC.  Since I don't have access
to any non-x86 systems, I haven't been able to test the endian-issues
that arise when not on x86, so it's good to hear that it finally seems
to be operational.  2.6.20 has all patches to-date so it should work out
of the box.  I've whipped up a simple set_mac_address function which
should work for AX88772 and AX88178 devices (AX88172 does not support
setting the MAC) and after some testing, I can submit a patch.  It may
make 2.6.20, though it may have to wait until 2.6.21, though it doesn't
appear that it's critical functionality, more of a making things
complete kind of thing.
